Hurricane Melissa Relief Information
On the afternoon of October 28, 2025 Hurricane Melissa, a category 5 storm, hit the southwest portion of Jamaica with winds in excess of 160 mph.
Hurricane Melissa, the strongest storm to ever hit the island, caused $4 billion worth of property damage and has left hundreds of thousands of Jamaicans without shelter, electricity, and water.
CAM is urgently mobilizing by raising funds to be distributed to local, community- based partners.
Please donate now to help Jamaicans in need.
We are additionally researching resources that are engaged in relief for the other affected islands, including Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Cuba. If you would like to get involved or have connections with an organization from these islands please contact us at caribbeanmadison@gmail.com
CAM is a 501(c)3 organization and your donations will be tax deductible.
